Try the grill out for the 1st time, worked great, a little weird not hassling with smoke or trying to control an open flame, because, its electric, but very pleased with the results!
Took me about 10 minutes to put this thing together so it wasnt that bad. Its a little smaller than I thought but its pretty cute on the patio. And I cooked a couple of ribeyes on it already and it did a pretty good job. Im happy with it.
I have been using it for around 4 days now. It cooks slowly and evenly with no flare ups. You won't of course get the charcoal flavor but you don't have to watch it that close. You don't heat the house up and you don't have to go get charcoal every time you want to cook out! I would buy it again! A+ for me!
Well made grill good for 2-4 people servings, takes a little bit to get to operating temp so give it the time to heat first before you put your food on it to cook, but it does a great job once its upto temp. Once you get used to cooking times of an electric grill you will love using it and always get the perfect outcome on whatever youre cooking and it doesnt make much smoke so thats kinda nice. Just take a test run first with something simple to cook so you learn time vs heat on it etc. Definitely recommend this grill for situations where gas is not an option.
This is my fourth grill. I do like them. I replace them after a couple of years as they are inexpensive, and I don't take good care of mine. I just use it. The temperature controls work fine to a point. I usually have mine on high. When the outside temperature is high, and the grill gets hot the controls turn off the heating coils. Then you are screwed. What I do is take the control apart and adjust it so that it is on high when I plug it in and off when I unplug it. Don't YOU do this!
