For a friendly diner you should have this item; nice and easy to clean you can have a crepe party or raclette party. Also this apparel can do plancha, we love it !
We were initially disappointed thinking it would not function as well as the cast iron plate one (foreground) but it performed as well and was easier to clean.The temperature light on the control also helped with regulating the temp and reduce burning. These things do generate heat in the room so it helps to lower the thermostat and open some windows. :)

Super easy. A little splatter messy depending on what you cook so you may want to to let something under it. If your melting cheese put it on last as it melts and sit before food is done. Great product for appys or small dinner party-
I've just turned on, put some oil on it, cleaned it and it was ready to cook. It worked perfect! The teflon pan never got sticky, all the food cooked fast and we had a blast of a time. As the temperature is not super hot we had no smoke. Cheese melted perfect, it does not burn and the slots are high so you can put lots of stuff in the trays! We just love it!!!
